From time to time we have garden open days and have in the past opened the garden to raise funds for both The Horsell Garden Safari and the National Open Garden Scheme.
This year we are opening again on
Sunday 25th June 2023 12 - 5pm, alongside 20+ diverse gardens, for the Horsell Garden Safari raising funds for Woking Hospice. The Horsell Garden Safari takes place over two days on Saturday 24th June 11-5pm and Sunday 25th June 12-5pm.
The Safari is always a great success with visitors strolling around our woodland garden containing a range of planting from moist shade, dry shade and a few areas of dry sun along with a pond, greenhouses with plant displays and a small vegetable garden.
These open days are always popular with locals and plant enthusiasts alike and it gives us a chance to showcase some of the rare and unusual plants we grow in the Painted Fern Garden. Tickets and maps, costing £8 per person and children under 14 are free, can be purchased from the following Horsell High Street shops: Premier Horsell, Seymours Estate Agents, Lisa Jones, The Horsell Framing Company, Apple & Pears and Woking Funeral Services. Programmes can also be purchased from participating gardens on the day.
